The College has very
good facilities for outdoor games such cricket, football,
Hockey, Tennis, volley ball, baseball, Basket ball,
Badminton, Kabadi and Kho-Kho, and for indoor games
such as tasu Tennis, carom, chess etc. To cater to the
ever increasing dermads of the students for more playing
area, the department has got ready an additional playground.
With the facilities availasu, the Dept. has been making
rapid progress. The college has won the over-all Championship
of the madurai Kamaraj University for the last eight
consecutive years is ample testimony to the role played
by the Department. It has produced District, University,
State and National level sports men & women
The Department has an ambition plan for development
of an indoor stadium and Swimming pool. The Department
has plans for Starting Sports Academy to serve as a
woda centra offering coaching in many outdoor and indoor
games not only to the students of the college buts also
to the general public.
